Diddy and cassie video: Shocking video captures Sean “Diddy” Combs hitting and kicking Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, his ex-girlfriend, in a hotel hallway in 2016. He eventually bought the video from the hotel following the fight.
The video, which CNN was the first to get, shows the music tycoon in a towel following Ms Ventura down the hallway before striking her close to the lifts. It was shot from several perspectives. Then he makes an attempt to pull her back down the hallway.
The InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles’ Century City neighbourhood is where the incident is said to have occurred. Based on publicly accessible images of the inside of the defunct hotel, CNN confirmed the location.
Combs push Ms Ventura to the ground and then go to the floor near the lifts to get a handbag and a suitcase. She lies on the ground while he turns around and kicks her once again.
In the video, Ms Ventura can be seen gradually getting to her feet, picking up objects from the floor, and eventually coming across a hotel phone on the wall of the hallway next to the lifts. Combs reappears wearing socks and a towel.
The security camera’s mirror, which faces the mirror, captures Combs slapping Ms. Ventura. Then we see him throwing something at her.
CNN reports that Combs later paid $50,000 to the InterContinental Century City for the security footage captured in the corridor.
The video seems to support a number of claims made by Ms. Ventura in her 2023 lawsuit, wherein she stated that Combs had repeatedly sexually assaulted, trafficked, and physically assaulted her over a ten-year period.
Combs got “very drunk and hit Ms Ventura in the face, giving her a black eye,” according to the lawsuit, which described the incident as happening “around March 2016“.
Ms. Ventura had tried to leave the hotel room after the mogul dozed off, but he woke up and “followed her into the hotel hallway while yelling at her,” according to the complaint.
According to the report, “He grabbed at her and then threw glass vases in the hallway at her, causing glass to crash around them as she ran to the lift to escape.“
Additionally, the lawsuit claimed that soon after the singer’s meeting, Combs signed her to his label in 2005, when she was only 19 and he was 37, bringing her into his “ostentatious, fast-paced, and drug-fueled lifestyle.”
According to Ms. Ventura, the violence started as soon as their relationship did, and in 2018, when she was attempting to break it off, he broke into her Los Angeles home and sexually assaulted her.
A day after Combs filed the complaint; it was settled for an unknown sum of money. At the time, Combs’ lawyer claimed the deal was “in no way an admission of guilt” and that it did not alter Combs’ rejection of the charges, while Ms. Ventura told CNN that she had decided to “resolve this matter amicably.”
The Independent has been in touch with Combs and Ms. Ventura’s reps to inquire about the event shown on camera.
It occurs in the midst of numerous civil lawsuits accusing the rapper and music mogul of rape, sex trafficking, and sexual abuse. He is recognised for launching the careers of some of the biggest stars in recent years.
On March 25, US Homeland Security authorities raided two of the rapper’s homes in Miami and Los Angeles because he is being accused of a number of different offences. The numerous allegations go all the way back to the 1990s, when he established Bad Boy Records, his own record company.
Combs strongly disputes each and every charge made against him. His legal representatives have called the claims “sickening,” “baseless,” and money grabs. Federal authorities have not yet filed charges against or made any accusations against the entertainer.
